1940's Living Room

My final project to an interior environment design course by Alexandre Martins.

The initial prompt was something like "a country house living room". We could choose any time period or style, so I decided using one of my favorite videogames as the starting point: L.A. Noire by Team Bondi :)

After the first sketching phase, I built up the chosen scene using SketchUp and then started including some extra elements, adjusting the existing ones (based on the ready models from the Warehouse 3D section), and trying a little bit of prop stylization. I also exported the 3D model to Blender so I could simulate a more accurate fireplace lighting, which really came handy!

Special thanks to Katan Walker, who provided me some great feedback to this piece <3
